Travel Bug

Spending my days stuck up in studio, in this pseudo-basement apartment, or wherever I happen to be a slave to my school work has left me wanting--needing-- an adventure. A trip of some kind.

At this point, I'd completely settle for nothing more than a gorgeous trip up the mountain, if the road weren't closed and iced over.

I always dream of returning to Italy or venturing on to Prague, Budapest, Istanbul, anywhere in Greece, or some other wishful international adventure. I have my newly acquired taste for American cities, too.

But after 16 weeks spent in my Environmental Land Use class, I want nothing more than to go out to National Parks, beautiful landscapes, mountaintops, anywhere I can completely immerse myself in nature. Nothing is more stress-relieving. Nothing is more beautiful.

Here are some the places I want to go most right now:
Joshua Tree National Park

Arches National Park
Canyonlands
Sequioa National Park...especially climbing Mt. Whitney
Shenandoah National Park
Zion National Park

And of course, I'd love to go back to Yosemite for some backpacking:
