Spending my days stuck up in studio, in this pseudo-basement apartment, or wherever I happen to be a slave to my school work has left me wanting--
needing-- an adventure. A trip of some kind.
At this point, I'd completely settle for nothing more than a gorgeous trip up the mountain, if the road weren't closed and iced over.
I always dream of returning to Italy or venturing on to Prague, Budapest, Istanbul, anywhere in Greece, or some other wishful international adventure. I have my newly acquired taste for American cities, too.
But after 16 weeks spent in my Environmental Land Use class, I want nothing more than to go out to National Parks, beautiful landscapes, mountaintops, anywhere I can completely immerse myself in nature. Nothing is more stress-relieving. Nothing is more beautiful.
Here are some the places I want to go most right now:
Joshua Tree National Park
| Arches National Park |
| Canyonlands |
| Sequioa National Park...especially climbing Mt. Whitney |
| Shenandoah National Park |
Zion National Park
And of course, I'd love to go back to Yosemite for some backpacking:
